Aquaculture is our culture
Aquaculture products are British Columbia’s largest agricultural export. Shellfish, sablefish, salmon and other healthy seafood products are produced in the cold waters of the Pacific Ocean by thousands of hard working British Columbians.

Dan, I have not heard this before “Setting an example is not the main means of influencing another, it is the only means.” and I love it! My dad has always been a reader and growing up in a house like that I guess stuck with me as I enjoy it. I went through a phase where “I had no time to read”, but married someone who reads a lot so the refresh button was clicked for me. What is interesting is seeing how my 10 year old loves reading, how my six year old is eager to learn to read and the influence is the household. The examples in our lives create the influence for something to move from novelty or thinking to a habit.
Tonight is our night guys, stop bitching about our def and think of the positives. This is the first time since the final that we have a fully fit squad to pick from. When we had out (streetfair) goldfish, I always poured the dirty water on the garden. We gave him and the tank set-up to a school recently. However, my hubby's started to look into the possibility of aquaculture. It would give us great plants as well as fish to occasionally feed the dogs. (We want the option to eventually feed them homemade food should things get … interesting … in the future.)
Looking at this makes me feel good? in this world
I agree with fish-farms all the way!!
Lol, almost on time RT
“First, some tilapia facts: Tilapia are now the fifth-most consumed fish in the U.S. It’s a remarkably “unfishy” fish, and it tends to taste like whatever sauce it’s served with. This mild flavor, combined with its low price point, probably explains why consumers love it, and chefs hate it.

I actually think the colour is cool – it is called Orion. Bit like a Ferrari 612 scag in beige or as they call it Grigio Ingrid
Hmm same groups which fund #salmon #aquaculture demarketing are also involved in anti-fishery activities:

[...] It is also “aquacultured around the world from Asia, to South America, to the United States and Canada,” according to the Food Lover’s Companion. The fish we ate was indeed farmed. But the Monterey Bay Aquarium says that tilapia is a good choice for farming, and that the tilapia farmed in the U.S. are the best choice. Tilapia from China and Taiwan should be avoided, “where pollution and weak management are a problem.” (Read my thoughts on aquaculture in the post “Aquaculture and Seafood: the Good, the Bad, and the Sustainable.”) [...]

Yeah, but the government had to consciously change the law regarding no-win fees to make that happen. IIRC they also changed things so that they would be allowed to advertise in media in this way. It’s not like it was an accidental osmosis of culture.

They work people 90 hours a week. The people who work there are under intense pressure to perform and often put in tons of hours to impress. Plus they have a weird corporate culture of acting the same and being all bright and chippy around each other. And its so big that you just blend into crowds and have little personal connection. I’ve eaten there many times and the assembly line cafeteria reminds me of the stories I hear about how people get hired and leave after they burn out. If you’re really competitive, an amazing ‘people person,’ and are smart, it’s a great place to work. I’d work there for the free Odwalla, but then again I’m not a programmer so I’m useless to them.

I don’t think I could have summed it up myself. If Sony doesn’t feel I should be able to buy and play these titles then I will seek out a way I can. It being free is just a bonus.
