Big Daddys Seafood Market – Diabetic Friendly Recipes – Garlic Tiger Shrimp
What You Will Need:
1 tablespoon of olive oil
2 peeled and thinly sliced cloves of garlic
1/2 lb of large, peeled, uncooked shrimp i.e. tiger shrimp
Freshly chopped parsley
1 lemon cut it into 4 wedges
What To Do:
First you will want to preheat your oven to four hundred degrees F. Then add the garlic and your olive oil into a large sized, shallow oven proof dish.
Allow it to heat up in the oven for about 2-3 minutes. The garlic should begin to brown.
Add your shrimp to the same dish. Continue to turn your shrimp in the hot oil until they are completely coated. Then place the dish back in your oven and allow it to bake for about three more minutes or until your shrimp are pink and opaque.
It is best to serve them right away and sprinkle the shrimp with the freshly chopped parsley. Also place the wedges on the plate for those who would like to squeeze the lemon juice on the shrimp.
