Hello there, can we share some simple seafood recipes?

This is a post in response to the question, “Hello there, can we share some simple seafood recipes?”Each coast has something different to offer as far as how they cook their seafood. Bay Shrimp Sashimi

 

What you will need:

1/2 lb of live Bay Shrimp

Salt and Pepper

Lemon Juice

Olive Oil

 

How to prepare:

Take a half pound of live, bay shrimps and drop them (one by one) into boiling water for about five seconds. Then place them in ice water. After they are completely chilled, cut your shrimp into 2 halves along the back and arrange them in a dish. Sprinkle salt, pepper, lemon juice and olive oil.

Ingredients:

1 lb. pollock
1 lb . cod
1 lb. perch
1lb. scallops
3/4 c. onion
3/4 c.celery sliced
3 cloves garlic
1/3 c. butter
2 c. clam juice
1 c. water
28 oz. whole peeled tomatoes , broken up
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 lg. bay leaf
S&P
3/4 c. chopped cooked lobster

Directions:

Cut fillets into 2 ” pieces . Saute’ onion , celery and garlic in butter in lg. saucepan over med. heat until tender , but not brown . Add clam juice , water , tomatoes , thyme , bay leaf , fillets and scallops . Bring to a boil over high heat . Reduce to low heat . Simmer covered 10 min. Season with S&P .Add lobster to soup and heat through .

I like to stem some rice , place it in a bowl and ladle the soup over top .

    i like seafood fresh, try a ceviche which means to cook with acid. its just like a pico de gallo with chopped veggies like green pepper red onion garlic mango ect….., then just add some shrimp and or crab with some lemon juice ( acid that will cook shrimp) and olive oil and marinade
