Eat My Salmon! ~ part 1
A video series about commercial fishing for Salmon on the Kenai Peninsula. This is what I have done most of my life. Even when i do other things, I always show up here at the kenai river.
Alaska is one of the last wild salmon fisheries in the world. The fisherman and processors work hard to bring you a tasty, and healthy meal. Salmon, Halibut, Cod, Shrimp, Crab, Scallops, and more all wild fresh from Alaska.
But we need your help!!!
The expense of fishing, and low market prices, make it hard for the fisherman, and processors. And could eventually risk the mortality of the salmon themselves.
The commercial fisheries is vital to the existance of the salmon runs. And to keep the fish and fleet alive, we need hungry people. People who are hungry for healthy tasty FISH!
You spend lots of money on fancy diet foods and meals, when a small amount of vegies and some salmon are a vitamin filled, high protien, high energy, good tastin meal. I eat fish to stay healthy.
How can you help?
