Fake Seafood in Yau Ma Tei

The focus for the school’s 50th anniversary is in fact on the transformation of Yau Ma Tei, the vast district which our school calls home and which has experienced as much change as our small school has over the past 50 years, if not more. To highlight the past and present conditions facing the district, I developed a project for the students in form two, a cross-curricular project, for which they selected and researched an issue currently affecting Yau Ma Tei; in groups of four, they interviewed people, read literature, and filmed a documentary for this multi-disciplinary assignment. The final report, with the accompanying, ancillary videos are available for free and public viewing.

This group reported on fake seafood for sale in Yau Ma Tei.
