Travel to Scotland
Ask people what they associate most with Scotland and the most common answer is Whisky. Its Scotland’s national drink. There are so many places to visit in and around Scotland with over 1200 castles, palaces, historic churches, lots of mills with the choicest of woven wear to select from, cooperage, and visitor centers for whisky, that youll want to recover and relax in the evening with a glass of that Scottish whisky!
Scotland has some of the worlds most majestic and unmatched natural scenery and landscapes. The possibilities for adventure in Scotland are almost endless. So to cover as much as you can, even during a short visit, and so as not to drink too much whisky, use our travel guide.
By visiting Scotlands national parks you can enjoy a wealth of outdoor activity. Do include a visit to The Cairngorms, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs in your itinerary. Cycling is an ideal way to see the natural splendor of the parks and is actively encouraged.
Scotland has all the ideal characteristics for being an adventure-based destination. If youre after an adrenalin rush, participating in canoeing, sailing, water skiing, cannoning, snowboarding, ice climbing, quad biking and kayaking should be extremely appealing and certainly wont be a waste of time or money. Theres good fishing too, and why not try your hand at a game of golf, as Scotland is the birthplace of golf and has some of the oldest and most beautiful courses in the world.
Scotland is world renowned for its tasty langoustines, lobsters and oysters. Almost 50% of Scotland’s seafood is exported to generate major earnings. Shellfish is exported to France and Spain. Try different types of malt whisky, while learning about the distilling process at the more than one hundred distilleries in Scotland, and buy some to take back home.
The aim of our travel guide is to make it possible for everyone who visits Scotland to have a holiday that they will remember for the rest of their lives.

Inside A French Grocery Store and Food, Glorious Food
http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com
Some people eat to exist but ex-Marine (husband, Steve) and I definitely do not belong in that category. Love…love…love food! Other people browse boutiques. I browse grocery stores…fromageries…charcuteries…and pattiseries…envious of the enormous selection.
Please don’t tell me that I can go to specialty stores and buy all these foods that I after. This was an ordinary grocery store. Not Whole Foods or Trader Joes. O-R-D-I-N-A-R-Y…. Browse on your next trip to France and see if you agree with me…

Tour Kata Mama Seafood Restaurant Kata Beach Phuket 2008
One of the best things you can do in Phuket is enjoying excellent seaside dining; this is always one of the top choices for many of tourists that come to Phuket. There are many seaside restaurants to enjoy in Phuket and I want to show you as many as I can, the video tour will give you an idea what truly is seaside dining in one of the most beautiful locations in the world.
The Kata mama seafood restaurant is a simple seaside restaurant that is located on the very southern end of Kata beach Phuket, we have enjoyed this restaurant a few times and it is always worth stopping by for a late lunch or early dinner. The menu is very simple to read and the Thai food and seafood selections are always fresh, so you wont be disappointed.
One of the best features of this restaurant is that it overlooks beautiful Kata beach on the southern end, this alone will make your dining experience all more special. The restaurant is just down the beach from the Kata beach resort, which is one of the biggest resorts on Kata beach.
So when you are in Phuket give this little sweet seaside restaurant a try, it really is a unique dining experience on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Thank you so much for stopping by and check back often for more of my Phuket videos. Do you love Phuket as much as I do? Redondo Beach Pier
California’s coastal piers are one of the state’s most popular attractions. Hi, I’m VH with CTT and today we’re going to check out Redondo Beach Pier.
The earliest pier in Redondo Beach dates back to 1889, but the unique V-shaped construction you’ll find today debuted in 1916 as one of the most unique piers along the coast. The current pier was reconstructed in 1996 with many historical similarities to the past.
Along the horseshoe-shaped Pier, you’ll find plenty of specialty shops and great restaurants, including Kincaids Bayhouse and the historic Old Tony’s, which offer beautiful sunset views of the coast.
The pier is also the spot to pick up some fresh saltwater taffy, buy an oyster pearl, check out a shark exhibit, or take a 25-cent look at the coast.
A fishing license is not required while fishing off California’s public piers, but all other regulations apply. Just watch out for the hungry pelicans, who wait anxiously for fresh fish to fly up on the boardwalk.
While you’re on the pier, check out the tribute to George Freeth, the first surfer in the United States. Freeth helped Henry Huntington build the largest saltwater plunge in the world here in 1907.
Below the pier you’ll find the International Boardwalk, a marina that boasts live music, several seaside boutiques, and the Redondo Beach Fun Factory, where kids can play arcade games or ride the Tilt A Whirl.
This is also the place to rent a kayak or pedal boat for a closer look at Redondo’s resident sea lions, who live out beyond the jetty. You can also book a speed boat ride on the Ocean Racer or ride a glass-bottom boat for a glimpse at underwater sealife.
One of my favorite spots is Quality Seafood, a live fish market that’s been in Redondo Beach since 1953. It’s one of the largest retail seafood markets on the West Coast, and they’ll grill your fresh fish to order.
For a quick and inexpensive bite, fuel up on their steamed local crab or fresh clam chowder with a side of ice cold Corona. What a great way to end your day on the pier!
I’m Veronica Hill and that’s your California Travel Tip.

Kata Beach Phuket Market Fresh Seafood
http://www.phuketdining.com
Kata beach fresh seafood market is an excellent place to go when you are looking for some fresh cheap seafood that you are going to cook or BBQ yourself. I love going to open markets you can find just about any type of Thai cuisine ingredient and of course fresh seafood.
The seafood is as fresh as it gets, most off the seafood is only hours from either the ocean or farm, not days ago like seafood you might find in some of the big grocery chains. If you want to save a ton of cash on your food bill the open markets are the deal, I frequent the Kata Beach market all the time partly because my condominium at the Aspasia Phuket is only a few minutes away from the market so I am a regular customer. We just load up the car with plenty of fresh seafood, veggies and fruit to last the week, although last year I had to buy an extra refrigerator to help with the storage, but it was well worth it considering how much cash we can save by cooking it ourselves.
I learned to cook quite a few Thai dishes over at Pat’s Home Thai cooking school and that was a really big help. If you’re wondering where all the resorts and restaurants get their fresh food just go to the open market I am constantly running into chefs from various resorts picking up fresh ingredients for their restaurant menus.
Here is a short video clip of the seafood section at the Kata Beach open market, keep in mind this is only a small selection compared to some other Phuket markets that I have been to. Once you are in Phuket go to the market they truly are a unique experience and a whole lot of fun.
